Physical therapy at St. Joe's involves treatment to restore muscular strength, coordination, and balance, and improve range of motion.
Physical therapy also is used to help reduce pain, inflammation, muscle spasms and joint stiffness. Emphasis is placed on patient education, proper body mechanics and independent exercise programs to maximize effectiveness and prevent recurrence of injury.
Occupational Therapy
