Inpatient Services

Reception AreaWhen patients require the support and security of an inpatient setting, The Mental Health Center at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center provides twenty psychiatric beds with six beds designated medical-psychiatric beds. The inpatient program offers hope, rapid stabilization, intensive individualized treatment and thorough discharge planning to ensure patients are linked to ongoing treatment with outpatient providers. With an average length of stay at five to six days patients get help and on the road to recovery quickly.

Our skilled clinical team consists of board certified psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical nurse specialists, registered nurses, social workers, certified therapeutic recreation therapists, chaplains, and certified nursing assistants all working together with one goal: to bring hope and rapid recovery to our patients.
