Twin County United Way Goal Achieved
This year’s United Way campaign theme, “Live United,” focused on reminding employees that what truly matters most is our local youth, neighborhoods, families and community. In addition, we were reminded that not only do monetary contributions help us “Live United”, but giving of your time to the community is just as important and sometimes more. SJRMC employees as of December 2009 donated $43,328.42 which will be matched with a donation from SJRMC, bringing the total to $86,656.84. We had 174 employees submit contribution forms. The hospital’s campaign ran October through December with presentations at over 20 department meetings. Employees participated in many events throughout the campaign: The Pumpkin Drop, Chili Cook-Off, Dessert Auction and Spooky Grams on Halloween. These events raised over $2,486. We would like to thank all of our employees and SJRMC for their generosity and participation in the 2009 Twin County United Way.
