Chavez named Chief of Staff
Celso Chavez, M.D. is the Chief of Medical / Dental Staff at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston for 2010. Dr. Chavez is a Family Practice Physician at Clearwater Medical Clinic in Lewiston.
Past president is Jay Hunter, M.D., with Lewiston Emergency Physicians in Lewiston. Other Medical Staff Executive Committee officers are: President-elect, Paul Sanchirico, M.D., Radiologist with Phoenix Radiology in Lewiston; and Katrina Popham, M.D., an Oncology-Hematologist with St. Joseph Cancer Center in Lewiston is Secretary-Treasurer.
Other members of the Medical Staff Executive Committee are: William Dir, M.D., Hospitalist with St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston; Mark Eggleston, M.D., Ophthalmologist with Eye Care Specialists in Clarkston; and Scott Gardner, M.D., General Surgeon with Valley Medical Center in Lewiston.
St. Joseph Regional Medical Center Medical Staff Executive Committee is elected annually by their peers and represents the Medical Staff to assure and assist in planning, quality analysis and achievement of excellence in the delivery of health care.
